Street Names: mushies, shrooms, caps, liberties, cillies
Looks Like: 2 forms: Liberty cap mushrooms are small, brown and weed like, growing mostly in woodland and moist grassy areas (20-30 are a full dose). Fly agaric mushrooms are big, have a red or orange cap with white warts on a thick white stem (1 is a full dose).
Category: Hallucinogenic
Effects:
- Similar to LSD, they change the way the senses work.
- Visual effects may be distorted shapes and sizes, things are more colourful and stationary objects look like they’re moving.
- Sounds may be distorted and time slowed down or speeded up.
- Can cause laughter and increased confidence.
- Stomach ache, vomiting and a drunken feeling.

Risks:
- Trips can be good or bad, however once a trip starts it cannot be stopped, they can last anytime between 2-6 hours.
- Flashbacks from trips can occur many years after having the trip.
- Have to be careful that they are the correct mushrooms, as there are poisonous ones which can lead to severe vomiting/death.
