The Risks of misusing Lean

Codeine, one of the main ingredients in Lean is an opiate drug (this means lean is placed in the same category as morphine and heroin). Codeine can produce feelings of euphoria however it can also be highly addictive and hard to withdrawal from. Another active drug that can be found within Lean is Promethazine (an antihistamine) which can potentially cause sedating and drowsy effects. This can often cause the user to lean over – hence the reason for the drinks name.
